End Times Prophesies: Are we living in the last days?

There is more than a modicum of evidence to suggest that we are living in the last days. Prophesies are being fulfilled specifically as laid out in the Scriptures and even the most optimistic among us realize that the path the world is taking is not leading to a world most servants of God would find acceptable.

People throughout the world are, in fact, suffering for the cause of Christ.

It’s now commonplace to hear reports of direct knowledge concerning the persecution of Christians — and in places not expected to indulge in such activities.

What does God have to say about Christian persecution? What are we to do when we are unfairly attacked for our faith? How are we to react when faithful people are persecuted and even killed for their dedication to Christ?

During the reign of Hitler, those subjected to his will found themselves in the role of the persecuted. The story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer is an amazing tale of strength in the face of persecution — and his legacy of courage and bravery is virtually unparalleled.

How should Christians respond to persecution?
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a minister when Hitler rose to power.

Christians have both a wondrous opportunity and an incredible responsibility to discern for themselves what God would have them do in the face of adversity.

Throughout Scripture, we are admonished to seek Him in all we do. Bonhoeffer’s plight should not be lost on the Christians of today.
